The return conditions apply to all items purchased at aboardapparel.com and proof of purchase must be presented when making your return request, within the return period.
We strive to develop and produce the highest quality products possible. In addition to your statutory rights, if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you are entitled to the following options:
Free Returns:
Under our Free Returns policy we offer returns for all full price garments as per the following options:
- Refund to the original payment method
- Exchange for an alternative product
- ‘Shop Now’ credit to the value of the original item, to be used against a new purchase
- ABOARD Credit to be used online only, to the value of the returned item if you purchased the item on sale.
Please be aware that while our Free Returns policy covers the return of full-priced items within Australia; we’re not able to offer free return shipping for orders outside of Australia. Sales Items are excluded from our Free Returns policy, and while these can be returned, the cost of return postage falls to the customer. We are not able to offer refunds for costs incurred by returning garments nor taxes incurred for the shipping of replacements. All returns must be made within 75 days of your receipt date.
All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Victoria, Australia. Returns are also processed here.
Sale Items:
While we do accept the return of Sale Items, the purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to ABOARD. Free returns exclude sale items.
Sale items can be returned for a ABOARD for credit to be used online only, or exchange only. The value of the credit/exchange will be valued at the purchase price you paid in your order for the item you are returning.
Goods must be returned “as-new”, in a saleable condition, be unworn, unwashed and complete with all original tags in original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for returned items, which are not in saleable condition. All gift cards are non-refundable.
Please make sure all returned items are well packaged for transit. We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit, we would recommend you purchase insurance with your parcel carrier.

Within 75 days of purchase you can return any ABOARD items for credit or exchange. Refunds are not available on items purchased on sale.*
Exchange
Items purchased on sale can be exchanged for another item within 45 days of purchase.
Warranty
ABOARDS's 12 month warranty applies to all ABOARD products whether bought on sale or for full price. We stand by the quality of our products so you can shop - and travel - with confidence

Shipping
Free return shipping is not included when returning sales items.
*EU and UK regulations allow refunds for customers in the UK and EU within 14 days of purchase, after this only credit or exchange are available

Where taxes and duties are not included an alert will appear in your cart and at checkout, with a link to more information from the local authority applying the charges.

Our warehouse in Melbourne dispatches all orders and receives all returns.
Sale Items:
While we do accept the return of Sale Items, the purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to ABOARD. ABOARD Credit codes are issued for all return requests of Sale Items. The value of the code will be valued at the purchase price you paid in your order for the item you are returning.
No exchanges are offered for sale items, please initiate your return for ABOARD credit and then make a new purchase order for the desired new item. Please note: ABOARD credits for returned sale items cannot be issued until the original item has been received and processed.

Please allow at least 2 weeks for your return to be processed from the time your return parcel is marked as delivered. We will notify you via email once your return has been processed.

If an item is refunded to you, you’ll receive the payout in the same currency from which you purchased the products. This will be issued to the original payment method used when initially placing your order.
Our products are priced in a base currency of AUD on this site. If you have placed an order using another currency, it will be at the current exchange rate to AUD. All returns are processed at the exchange rate at the time of the refund. As a direct result of this, you may incur either a loss or gain due to currency conversion rate fluctuations.
